Welcome to PHS Library




Our library services students in seventh through twelfth grades and the educational and support staff of the school. The ultimate goal of the library is to serve as a learning center for all students at all academic levels. A variety of materials are provided that will contribute to the student's individual knowledge and provide teachers with effective resources for the classroom needs as well. The PHS library is committed to promoting a partnership in learning between the administration, staff, students, parents and the community.

The mission of the PHS is library is to provide the resources necessary to foster a lifelong love for reading and to build a foundation of information skills necessary for students to become productive members of society.



Click on the following Destiny link to access our online card catalog. Once you get to the site, click on Pickering High. Log in using your child's lunch number as the username and first initial/last name as the password. You can access what library books and textbooks they have as well as search the card catalog.

I am a graduate of Northwestern State University with a BS in Secondary Education. I am certified in Business (6-12), Social Studies (6-12) and Library Science. This is my twenty-fourth year at Pickering High School, nine of which have been in the library. My husband Marc and I have two children, Bailey and Braden. Bailey teaches Elementary P.E. and Braden is in  8th grade at PHS. I am a  PHS Alumnus and proud to be a Red Devil.
